John 1:14-15 And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we saw the glory of it, as the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father, which word was full of grace and truth. John bore witness of him and cried out, saying, this was he of whom I spoke, who, though he came after me, went before me, because he was before me.
One very important fact, that the whole world is missing, is the fact that John 1:14-15 is not referring to Yahshua's birth through Mary. We know this because John the Baptist was the forerunner, who was to announce the word becoming flesh in John 1:14. This was not the birth of Yahshua through Mary, because, according to Malachi 3:1, John the Baptist was only six months old when Messiah was born through Mary. This announcement, of the word becoming flesh, took place at Messiah’s baptism by John. This is when the light/the word/the Spirit, (they’re all the same), came into the world through Messiah receiving the Spirit, at His water baptism.
John 1:6-10 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came as a witness to bear witness of the light, so that all through him might believe. He was not that light, but was sent to bear witness of the light, the true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and yet the world knew him not.
According to Malachi 3:1, John was the to be the forerunner to YAH coming to His temple, by His Spirit, through Messiah's baptism.
Malachi 3:1 “Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in. Behold, He shall come,” saith the Lord of hosts.”
Messiah became the temple of YAH's Spirit, through His baptism.
Luke 4:1 Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit when He returned from the Jordan River. Then He was led by the Holy Spirit to a desert.
John 2:19-21 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
The true light, that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world through Messiah’s baptism. The light that was coming into the world was the light that lights every man. This is the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, as soon as he was baptized, came straight out of the water. And lo, heaven was open over him, and John saw the Spirit of God descend like a dove and light upon him.
It was at Messiah’s baptism that YAH gave His Son the Spirit without limit.
John 3:34 For Jesus is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit.
In other words, when YAH gave Messiah His Spirit, without limit, He was actually anointing His Son with His presence, and His power to speak, and do, the Father’s will.
Acts 10:38 And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
The word is the Spirit that was with YAH in the beginning.
Genesis 1:2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
It’s the Spirit that gives life to all people.
John 6:63 It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh is of no help. The words I speak to you are spirit and life.
The Spirit is the life, and the word. It was this same Spirit that was with YAH in the beginning, and it’s the same Spirit that YAH spoke through His word to create the Genesis creation.
Psalm 33:6 The heavens were made by the Word of the Lord. All the stars were made by the breath of His mouth.
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the world and all the things which are seen were made of nothing by the word of God.
Psalm 148:5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.
Psalm 104:30 When you give them your breath, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth.
Breath and Spirit are the same thing.
Notice the same verse in a different translation.
Psalm 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and You renew the face of the earth.
The Spirit is the word of YAH, and the light of YAH, which is life.
Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.
Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
John:9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Walking in the light means you are walking in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
This is the same light/Spirit that Messiah was walking in.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
The thing that was with YAH in the beginning and was YAH, is His Spirit.
The Spirit is the word.
Proverbs 1:23 Turn at my rebuke; surely, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
The Spirit is the light, the word, and the life.
John 6:63 It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh is of no help. The words I speak to you are spirit and life.
Now, the important thing…
Messiah had to reject His own word in order to submit to THE WORD in order to be THE LIGHT and give THE LIFE to all who obey Him.
Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
John 12:49-50 I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”
John 6:68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
Hebrews 5:8-9 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.
John 5:26-27 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
The word became flesh through Messiah’s obedience in manifesting the Father’s will, even unto death. Just as all the Prophets of old had spoken. This is why Messiah said, “I have not come to destroy the Torah or the Prophets, I have come to fulfill them.”
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.”
Messiah fulfilling all that was spoken of Him in the Torah and the Prophets is the word becoming flesh i.e. becoming a literal reality.
Luke 24:25-27 Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Just a side note:
Yahshua became the temple of YAH’s Spirit, through His baptism, and YAH’s Spirit is YAH’s presence (Psalm 51:11, Psalm 139:7). When we read in Revelation 21:3, we find the tabernacle of YAH being with men. The tabernacle is the temple, and the temple of YAH is His Son.
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Amen…
