"Yeshua is not the Almighty"

Revelation 1:1-8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Many people have been taught to read Yeshua as being the Almighty, but this is not true. To properly identify who the Almighty is in verse 8 you need to read the context. The very first thing you must see is that verse 1 tells us that it's the Almighty revealing to John facts about Yeshua.
Revelation 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John.
This means that throughout Revelation you will hear the Almighty speaking, as well as, John and Yeshua. This means you will need to decipher who is speaking, and who is being referred to at any particular time. There's a lot of "back and forth" going on.
Another thing we need to see is that the "words" of the Almighty i.e. the word of God, and the words of Yeshua i.e. His testimony, are two different things.
Revelation 1:1-2 He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.
All throughout Scripture Yeshua spoke His own words, as well as, the words of the Almighty, His Father.
John 12:48-50 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.
As you read the context of Revelation 1:1-8 you find that the identity of the Almighty is not Yeshua, but rather, the Father of Yeshua. Notice the distinction between the "Who was and who is to come" who is the Almighty, and Jesus Christ, the faithful witness. These are two different people, one is the Almighty, and the other is Yeshua.
Revelation 1:4-5 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.
Now, with this information, read Revelation 1:8 in its context, and see that the big picture is not saying Yeshua is the Almighty.
Revelation 1:1-8 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Amen...
