Did you know that the words “blessed” and “holy” are important to God? Things that are blessed by God, and declared holy, are used to draw us near to Him. The Sabbath is a blessed and holy day, so it’s special to God. It’s holy and protected time for His people to gather for worship. We do this as an expression of our worship, and love for God. We have the day off to gather for worship.
Leviticus 23:3 You have six days to do all your work, but remember that the seventh day Sabbath is a day of rest. On that day do not work, but gather for worship. The Sabbath belongs to the Lord, no matter where you live.
Did you know that when the 4th commandment says, “Remember to keep the Sabbath holy” the word, “Remember” is pointing us back to Genesis when God actually created the seventh day, and declared it holy and blessed.

Did you know that in 321-AD the Emperor Constantine of Rome was the first one to adopt Sunday as the day of rest? This was done in honor of the, Venerable Day of the Sun.

Did you know that in 364-AD the Roman Catholic Church Christianized Sunday as the Lord’s Day? This was done 364 years after Messiah and the Apostles. This means that the Sabbath change to Sunday didn't come from Messiah.
